Colònies d'Immersió Lingüística in English for 1st and 2nd ESO

English theatre for 3rd and 4th year of ESO and FP Bàsica
Students from 3rd and 4th year of ESO and Basic Vocational Training (FP Bàsica) recently watched the musical play “Frankenstein and Mary Shelley” at school, performed by the company Jumping Ducks.
Before the show, students did some classroom activities to learn about the story and the vocabulary. This helped them understand and enjoy a play performed completely in English.
After the performance, students could talk to the actors and practice their English. Some students also went on stage and participated in the activity, which made the experience more fun.
Students were very happy with the activity. They enjoyed the story, the songs, and the chance to learn English in a different way. It was a memorable experience for everyone.

An Escape Room for 1st and 2nd Batxillerat, SMIX, GA and PFI.
Students from Baccalaureate, Vocational Training Studies, and the Programes de Formació i Inserció (PFI) recently took part in an English escape room activity organized by the company Face2Face.
Before the activity, students completed preparation tasks in class to become familiar with the vocabulary and the characters of the story. Later, one of the characters visited the school and asked the students for help to discover who the murderer was.
Working in groups, students had to follow clues, solve puzzles, make calculations, and use logical thinking to solve the mystery. The activity encouraged teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Students were able to learn and practice English while having a great time. It was an engaging and fun experience that allowed them to use the language in a real and interactive situation.
SCHOOL TRIPS AND ACTIVITIES COURSE 24-25
This year we had a fantastic time with our 1st ESO students at the Colònies d'Immersió Lingüística en Anglès in the Delta de l'Ebre! The students immersed themselves in the English language through fun activities, teamwork, and exploration of the region's natural beauty. It was a memorable experience that not only improved their language skills but also gave them a deeper appreciation for the local culture."
- The "Sing Along" activity for Batxillerat and CCFF students is a fun and interactive way to improve English language skills through music. Students sing along to popular songs, focusing on pronunciation, rhythm, and vocabulary. This engaging activity encourages students to practice their listening and speaking abilities while enjoying the music and building confidence in a relaxed, enjoyable setting."
We're excited to share a short video from a fun and creative performance our students put together with Daniel, our language assistant. The performance took place on stage and is the result of weeks of teamwork, laughter, and language learning.
The highlight? The students wrote their own lyrics about Santa Coloma, using the music of a Backstreet Boys song! A fun and catchy way to celebrate their city while practicing English creatively.
