On-line learning:
- Parla.cat is a virtual learning space that offers all the educational materials for learning the Catalan language. The course can be done with a self-managed learning method (free) or a method with a tutor (paying).
- Vincles is a book and a on-line web plataform that is a great help introducing the Catalan language. The book can be found in the library of the school.
- Intercat is a collection of electronic resources for learning about Catalan language and culture, specially designed for students on mobility programmes who are visiting Catalan universities.
Presential courses:
- The Consortium for Language Normalisation (cpnl) offers courses from beginner to top level. The beginners courses are free of charge. Our reference office is called L'heura and here is its location.
- Official language schools in which is easy and cheap to find Catalan Courses
Book materials and libraries:
- There are many books to learn Catalan. In the library of our institutuion the participant will find some.
- Libraries in town: There are 3 wonderful libraries where the student will find a lot of books to learn the language, a good atmosphere to study and many services and activities:
- Assimil books are a fast, very recomendable books to get a fast improvment in a language. Since is a poket book can be carried everywhere. The participant can find several assimil books in Santa Coloma's Libraries
Language parteners:
- Language partenership between foreign participants and native speakers will be promoted from the school as a language exchange. So if possible interests match this might be a good way to start.
- Catalan Language Parteners This is program in wich a Catalan speaker volunteer gives her time in order that you can learn Catalan.
